A-Thrifti Self Storage sits at 2115 8th Ave., in Near Southside Fort Worth, roughly a half mile south of Magnolia Avenue and the hospital district. If you live in the apartments around Fairmount, Mistletoe Heights or Hemphill, or you work in the district and need somewhere to put things that is not another storage run across town, this is the closer of our two properties.
It is straightforward drive-up storage: white block buildings, blue roll-up doors, park at the door and unload. Nothing clever, just close.
Distance to the Medical District is described from the operator's long-standing description of this property and should be treated as approximate. Check the map below for the exact location relative to where you are coming from.

Look for the painted A-Thrifti sign on the white block building and the 2115 address on the frontage. If you are coming from the hospitals, it is straight south on 8th Avenue — you will pass Magnolia on the way.
Map of A-Thrifti Self Storage
Our 8th Avenue property is roughly a half mile south of Magnolia Avenue and the hospital district — close enough that most people working in the district can stop by on the way home rather than making a separate trip.
It is one of the more common reasons people rent from us here. Rotations, fellowships and travel contracts all create the same problem: a lease that is shorter than the amount of furniture you own. A small drive-up unit is usually the cheapest way to solve it.
A 5×15 or a 7×15 usually handles a one-bedroom. If you are only storing the overflow — off-season clothes, books, a bike, boxes — a 5×6 or 5×10 is normally plenty.
Access hours are confirmed at the office and differ between our two properties. Call the 8th Avenue location, tell us the hours you actually work, and we will tell you straight whether it fits.
Yes — our Pafford Street property is entered through a keypad-controlled gate. It is a little further out but worth knowing about if controlled access matters to you.
